Senna - Alexandrian Leaves 50gr

Senna or Cassia angustifolia belongs to the herbs traditionally used for the treatment of constipation. In Greek, it is known as senna or sinamiki. It contains glycosides that promote the movement of the large intestine. It acts in collaboration with Buckthorn, psyllium, and aloe vera.

In cases where intestinal gas and abdominal cramps coexist, it is good to combine it with anise, ginger, chamomile, fennel, and mint. There is no recommended daily intake for senna!

Precautions during use/interactions:

Avoid combining with licorice. Also, it should not be taken by individuals with electrolyte disturbances, dehydration, or kidney diseases, as well as by patients taking antiarrhythmic, antihypertensive, or diuretic drugs. Avoid supplementary intake during pregnancy and breastfeeding as it may cause contractions in the uterus.
