Guar gum is derived from the seed of the guar plant and is obtained by milling the guar bean.

This miraculous powder will help you in your pastry and cooking due to its amazing property of thickening your recipes.

Its thickening ability is at least 5 times stronger than corn flour.

The main cultivation areas are India and Pakistan. This natural product is not fertilized with artificial fertilizer.

Guar gum forms low concentration high viscosity solutions that are used because of its easy thickening result. Guar gum has the ability to dissolve easily, even in cold.

Applications: Cold foods such as ice cream, desserts, sauces, soups, drinks, whipped cream, fruit salads, creams, mayonnaise, cakes, cheesecakes, drinks, etc.

Also in hot soups and sauces.

This guar gum is organic, free from genetically modified ingredients, gluten-free, vegan, and is recommended, like carob gum, mainly due to the non-digestible fibers and therefore is very suitable for diabetics.

Dosage:

For light binding: 3 g (approximately 1% TL) guar gum in 250 ml e.g. sauces or soups.

5 g (approximately 2% TL) of guar gum in 250 ml for e.g. ice cream, mayonnaise, creams or desserts.

For bakery products: add 2 - 3 g (about 1 teaspoon) per 1 kg flour

Storage Instructions: Store in a dry place and protect from heat.
