Uses
Infusion
Prior to use, lightly crush the seeds to release the volatile oils. Pour a cup of boiling water over 1-2 tsp of seeds and let it steep covered for 5-10 minutes. Drink a cup three times a day.
For bloating
Drink a beverage slowly, before meals.
Oil
Take internally a drop of oil, mixed with ½ tsp of honey.
Dosage for essential oil is 0.05-0.2 ml 3 times daily.
Dosage for tincture is 0.3 - 1 ml three times a day.
For children
For children up to a year old, use 1 gram of seeds to a cup of water. For children 1 - 4 years old use 2 grams of seeds in a cup of water and for children over 4 years old, use the adult dosage.
