 Aromatic oils are used at a rate of 1-3% in lotions, creams, shampoos, balms, etc.  In soaps, they are usually used in a ratio of 10ml/kg of soap base in those made by the Melt & Pour method, 15ml/kg of oils in those made with the hot method, and 20ml/kg of oils in those made with the cold method.
