A herb which even today serves as an alternative to tobacco. It has soothing and expectorant properties and is particularly useful in most respiratory system problems, including chronic forms of coughing. As a mild diuretic, it has been used for cystitis. It has tonic properties and contains a gel that acts as a soothing agent for mucous membranes. Usage: Add 1 teaspoon to a cup of hot water for 7-10 minutes, strain and drink. Drink the infusion once a day. Pay attention to the dosage for up to 2 weeks. Do not exceed recommended dosage.
