Carob Syrup 350gr

Our Carob Syrup is produced from the fruits of the carob tree and has a mild, sweet flavor. It can be used as a sweetener for cakes, tahini, hot and cold drinks, yogurt, ice cream, and rice dishes. It is an excellent sugar substitute. Carob syrup is also known as a traditional remedy for coughs and sore throats. It is high in calcium (almost three times more than milk – carob has 350mg per 100g compared to milk which has 120mg per 100g). The flavor may vary depending on the variety used while the nutritional values remain the same. We only use Cretan carobs for its production.
